How to Edit Your Profile for Maximum Visibility

Once you're approved as a Creator on TrustyFans, it’s time to make your profile shine. Fans are actively searching for creators that match their interests and the more complete and compelling your profile is, the more discoverable you’ll be!

This guide walks you through how to update your profile settings, customize your public-facing page, and unlock more visibility using TrustyFans' built-in tools.

Step 1: You’ve Been Approved... Now What?

Once your Creator application is approved, you'll receive an email letting you know you're in! At that point:

• Your profile is live on the site
  
• You can now log in and begin customizing
  
• You’ll land on your Dashboard, where all fan reviews will appear once they start rolling in

Step 2: Update Your Personal Settings

Head to the Personal Settings tab in your dashboard. Here, you can update:

• Email address
• Country
  
• Gender
  
  

⚠️ Important: To change your handle (also called your User Name) or your Date of Birth, you must contact TrustyFans Support for security reasons.

Once finished, click Save at the bottom of the page to keep your updates.

Step 3: Assign Your Attributes

Next, go to the Attributes tab. This is one of the most important sections for boosting visibility in Creator Search.

Free (Basic) Accounts Can Edit:

• Ethnicity
  
• Gender
  
• Language(s) Spoken

Note: Age and gender are automatically pulled from your Personal Settings.

Want More Visibility?

Upgrading to a Pro account unlocks advanced attributes (like body type, personality tags, and niche content identifiers) - giving fans more ways to find you.

To upgrade, click "Upgrade Now" link or visit the "My Creator Plan" tab.

When you're done, scroll down and click Save.

Step 4: Change Your Password or Delete Account

Visit the Security tab if you want to:

• Update your password
  
• Delete your account
  • If you want to delete your entire account - including your profile and all associated data - please read this step-by-step guide before you do: How to Delete Your Creator Account 
    

⚠️ Note: Deleting your account is permanent. All of your data will be permanently erased, and you’ll need to restart the application process from scratch.

Click Confirm when prompted to complete deletion.

Step 5: Manage Your Creator Plan

In the My Creator Plan tab, you can:

• Upgrade to Pro for advanced features
• Downgrade back to Basic if needed
  

Step 6: Customize Your Public Profile

Click "View My Profile" from the dashboard, then select Edit Info next to your stage name. You’ll be able to update the following:

1. Cover Image
   • Upload a banner (2208 x 488 pixels). Pick something that captures your vibe as a creator. Follow all community guidelines.
     
2. Profile Picture
   • Click "Change Profile" to upload a square image (1:1 ratio). Keep it clean and recognizable.
3. Short Info
   
   • A 250-character intro that appears in Creator Search. Keep it catchy and informative!
4. About Me
   
   • This section shows up on your profile page. Use it to:
     • Share your personality
     • Talk about what fans can expect from your content
     • Highlight your unique approach to content (Tip: Mention niche content types, collaborations, or your fan engagement style.)
       
5. My Gallery
   • Upload up to 5 images or GIFs. The first image is the image that will display in the Creator Search.
   • Minimum size: 600x462 pixels. Please follow the community guidelines (i.e., no nudity allowed).
6. Paid Sites
   
   • Link to platforms where fans can subscribe to you.
     • Basic/Free Creator Plan  = 1 paid site
       
     • Pro Creator Plan  = 2 paid sites
       
   • Don’t see your site? Contact Support.
7. My Socials
   
   • Add your top social media accounts.
     • Basic/Free Creator Plan  = 1 social link
       
     • Pro Creator Plan  = 3 social links
       
   • Use the dropdown. If yours is missing, contact Support.
8. Content Categories
   
   • Choose the content types you specialize in. This helps fans find creators based on interest, so choose wisely!
     • Basic/Free Creator Plan = 1 category
       
     • Pro Creator Plan = 5 categories
       

When you’re done, scroll back to the top and click the "Save Info" button at the top right of the page.

Pro Tips for Maximum Visibility

• Be specific with your attributes and categories. Niche content = easier discoverability.
• Use every available field. Incomplete profiles appear lower in search.
  
• Keep your Short Info updated. It's the first thing fans see - make it pop!
  
• Upgrade to Pro for more attributes, categories, and links - all of which help you get found.
  
• Regularly update your gallery and About Me. Fresh content keeps your profile relevant.
